Bid on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play three rounds of golf at world famous Pebble Beach Resorts
Samaritan’s 2024 Drive FORE A Good Cause Golf Tournament, presented by The Richardson Family Dealerships and Lexus of Cherry Hill, have been chosen to participate in the Lexus Champions for Charity. This unique auction opportunity, sponsored by Lexus of Cherry Hill, will take place during the post-event banquet following our annual golf tournament on June 24th.
Since 1989, the annual Lexus Champions for Charity golf series has raised over well $100 million for charity causes. The golf series begins with over 195 golf tournaments held at golf and country clubs around the U.S., and culminates in a three-day championship tournament at Pebble Beach Golf Links, Links at Spanish Bay and Spyglass Hill. Samaritan is one of the few charities chosen to participate by Lexus and Lexus of Cherry Hill.

This unique auction opportunity takes place at Samaritan’s annual golf tournament during the awards dinner reception on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Little Mill Country Club in Marlton, NJ. You do not need to golf in Samaritan’s tournament to bid on this auction item. Join us for the tournament dinner only for $100 per person – register for golf or the dinner NOW.
A staff member will represent our proxy bidders during the live auction. If, at the conclusion of live bidding, there is a sufficient proxy bid; our proxy-bidders representative will announce what would then become the current high bid. This amount would be the next incremental bid above the current high maximum bid. Live, in person bidders will have a final opportunity to outbid that current bid, before bidding is closed.
To use the proxy bid process, you must complete a proxy bid form; providing a valid credit card, and agreeing to honor your maximum bid. Please email us for the required proxy bid form, which must be returned by June 19.
One two-person team, amateurs only, will compete for a $100,000 prize purse for their hometown charity (Samaritan). The winner of Samaritan’s auction (a two-person team) on June 24th, will have the opportunity to compete in the 2024 Lexus Champions for Charity National Championship for a $100,000 charity purse.
Once-In-A-Lifetime Auction Prize Package includes: 3-day, 54-hole tournament, and 18 holes per day playing at Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill, and The Links at Spanish Bay.
Hospitality package includes food and beverage, gift bags, golf fees, and event transportation between Monterrey Peninsula or San Jose International Airports and Pebble Beach Resorts, as well as transportation among tournament sites. Club/touring professionals and Lexus affiliates are not eligible to participate in the National Championship and current verifiable handicaps are required to compete (but not to play). The host hotel for all participants will be The Inn at Spanish Bay, and all hotel reservations must be made by contacting a Lexus Champions for Charity representative
Participants are responsible for their own airfare and accommodations. Samaritan will provide a $2,000 travel and accommodations stipend, $1,000 per golfer, to the auction winner.
Handicaps: All players must have verified handicaps and must present cards at tournament registration; percentage of handicap will be used. Handicaps are required to compete in the tournament. Golfers may play in the tournament without a handicap, but will not be eligible to win the prize purse.
