Marlton, NJ – Drive “FORE! A Good Cause,” the Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice Annual Golf Tournament, presented by The Richardson Family Dealerships, will take place on Monday, June 24. The 18-hole scramble- format tournament, held at Little Mill Country Club in Marlton, will have a shotgun start at 11:15 a.m. Registration opens at 9:30 a.m. An awards reception and dinner will follow at 4:30 p.m.
Samaritan’s annual golf tournament has two important goals: to raise funds and to raise awareness. Proceeds support Samaritan’s direct care in the South Jersey community to help people to live each day fully and with comfort, support, and dignity, even as they cope with issues of aging, serious illness, and grief.
“Samaritan’s not-for-profit mission has been serving our community for 39 years. Supporting Drive FORE! A Good Cause helps us offer additional supportive services to patients and families at a very vulnerable time that wouldn’t otherwise be covered by insurance,” says Mary Ann Boccolini, president/CEO.
The entrance fee of $295 includes continental breakfast, lunch, sports shirt, greens fees and cart, refreshments on the golf course, awards dinner reception, and player gift package. The event features hole-in-one contests to win luxury automobiles and other prizes along with mulligans, 50/50 raffles, and various individual and foursome awards. An online auction allows golfers at the tournament, as well as those who are not able to attend, to bid on a variety of noteworthy items. Samaritan welcomes volunteers who would like to help at the event.
