Mount Laurel, NJ – “Drive FORE! A Good Cause,” Samaritan’s annual golf tournament, presented by The Richardson Family Dealerships, will take place on Monday, June 28 at Little Mill Country Club in Marlton with all social distancing guidelines in place to protect everyone’s health and safety. All proceeds from the event support Samaritan’s family of services that enhance the lives of those coping with issues of aging, serious illness, or grief, and all those who care about them throughout South Jersey.
“Each year, the goal of our annual golf tournament is two-fold: to raise awareness and funds to ensure that we at Samaritan are able to continue offering essential, life-enhancing services to those within the communities we serve,” said Mary Ann Boccolini, president/CEO of Samaritan. “We continue to be overwhelmed by the support we receive from sponsors and golfers alike for this charitable event. Through the leadership our returning golf committee chairs Cliff Mancine and Roy Fazio and all of our golf committee members, this year’s tournament is sure to be a success.”
The 18-hole, scramble-format tournament will have a shotgun start at 11:15 a.m. Registration opens at 10 a.m. and an outside awards reception and dinner will follow the tournament at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Returning this year is Lexus Champions for Charity, sponsored by Lexus of Cherry Hill, offering the once-in-a-lifetime chance to play at Pebble Beach – every golfer’s dream! In addition to this special contest, the tournament will also feature a variety of other fun activities, sponsored by Challenge Sponsor Mancine Optical, including hole-in-one contests that offer a chance to win luxury automobiles and prizes, mulligans, 50/50 raffles, various individual/foursome awards and more. Samaritan will once again host an online auction to coincide with the golf tournament, allowing both golfers at the tournament and those who are not able to attend the opportunity to bid on a variety of noteworthy items.
The price to participate in this year’s golf tournament is $295 per golfer, and includes a boxed lunch, tournament golf shirt, greens fees and cart, refreshments on the golf course, awards reception with dinner, and player gift package.
