Mount Laurel, NJ – “Drive FORE! A Good Cause,” Samaritan’s annual golf tournament, presented by The Richardson Family Dealerships, will take place on Monday, June 27 at Little Mill Country Club in Marlton. All proceeds from the event support Samaritan’s family of services that enhance the lives of those coping with issues of aging, serious illness, or grief, and all those who care about them throughout South Jersey.
“Each year, we hold our annual golf tournament to raise awareness and funds to support the essential, life-enhancing services we provide in communities throughout South Jersey,” said Mary Ann Boccolini, president and CEO of Samaritan. “We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication of our returning golf committee chairs, Cliff Mancine and Roy Fazio, and all the members of our golf committee. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous donors and sponsors and all of our registered golfers – without your enthusiasm and passion for our organization, this event would not be possible.”
The 18-hole, scramble-format tournament will feature the Lexus Champions for Charity, sponsored by Lexus of Cherry Hill, offering the once-in-a-lifetime chance to play at Pebble Beach – every golfer’s dream! For those unable to attend, proxy bidding will be available for the Lexus Champions for Charity auction – visit Samaritan’s event page for more details: www.SamaritanNJ.org/Golf.
In addition to the Lexus Champions for Charity, the golf tournament will also feature a variety of other fun activities, sponsored by Challenge Sponsor Mancine Optical, including: hole-in-one contests that offer a chance to win luxury automobiles and prizes, mulligans, 50/50 raffles, various individual/foursome awards and more. Samaritan will once again host an online auction to coincide with the golf tournament, allowing both golfers at the tournament and those who are not able to attend the opportunity to bid on a variety of noteworthy items.
While all golfer spots are now full, sponsorship and volunteer opportunities remain available. Additionally, there is also dinner-only option available for those who wish to support Samaritan and only attend our award reception and dinner (held in the late afternoon, once all golfers have completed their round).
