Daughters Grieving the Loss of their Mother Support Group Beginning in April

Mount Laurel, NJ – The connection between a mother and her daughter is a complex and special relationship. When a mother passes away, adult daughters may struggle with feelings of grief, guilt and loneliness at the loss of someone who is both a mentor and a friend.

The Samaritan Center for Grief Support is providing a six-week online Daughters Without Mothers support group for adult women grieving the loss of their mother. This online workshop is complimentary and facilitated by trained bereavement professionals who will offer grief education and tips for treating yourself with compassion. Most importantly, the group will offer a space for women from the South Jersey community to come together to tell their mother’s story and honor her memory.

The six-week support group will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, April 19
  • Tuesday, April 26
  • Tuesday, May 3
  • Tuesday, May 10
  • Tuesday, May 17
  • Tuesday, May 24

Pre-registration for the virtual sessions is required by calling (856) 596-8550 or e-mailing at [email protected].

Please note, sessions are subject to change.
